The therapeutic massage I do is an expression of the
eclectic mix of my background. It is rooted in my early training in
Swedish massage. My years of T'ai Chi Ch’uan practice as well as
orthopaedics training have lent a deep sensitivity to individual
musculature and skeletal alignment and function, trigger points and
nervous system pathways. I've been influenced by structural
integration, and in particular by the concepts of functional
integration from bodywork pioneer Moshe Feldenkrais. Knowing
acupuncture point and meridian channel locations gives me another tool
for diagnosis and treatment. Lay back, breathe naturally, let your
cares slip away and experience deep relaxation and relief from negative
stress. Therapeutic massage can open the body's awareness to remodel
the way the brain processes kinesthetic and sensory signals. It’s
what I like to think of as a process of change-exchange-interchange.
And, it just feels good!

The lotus is a botanical that provides a medicinal herb from every part
of the plant, which consists of flower, stem, leaves, root, seed
capsule and seeds. An aquatic plant of captivating beauty, the lotus is
held in high esteem for its many medicinal, culinary and spiritual
uses. Seed viability is spectacular – seeds hundreds of years old
discovered in ancient tombs are known to germinate – an
inspiration for what is latent to come alive and mature.
